Technical Lead - Frontend Development (8-10 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Architect and design scalable and maintainable frontend applications using Next.js.

- Lead the technical direction of frontend projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.

- Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural patterns.

- Evaluate and recommend new frontend technologies and tools.

- Drive the adoption of modern frontend development practices.

- Lead the development of complex and high-performance frontend applications using Next.js.

- Implement server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and API routes using Next.js.

- Optimize frontend performance and ensure accessibility.

- Implement and manage state management solutions (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil).

- Integrate with backend APIs and third-party services.

- Lead and mentor a team of frontend engineers.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

- Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions.

- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and timelines.

- Plan and estimate development tasks and timelines.

- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.

- Manage project dependencies and risks.

- Implement and maintain comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end).

- Ensure high code quality and test coverage.

- Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues.

- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Present technical solutions and designs to stakeholders.

- Provide regular status updates and reports.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and best practices.

- Continuously improve development processes and tools.

- Contribute to the development of internal knowledge base and documentation.

Technical Skills :

Required :

- 8+ years of experience in frontend development.

- Deep expertise in Next.js and React.

- Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

- Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG).

- Experience with state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Recoil).

- Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.

- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred :

- Experience with Next.js features like API routes, Image optimization, and Internationalization.

- Experience with CSS-in-JS libraries (Styled Components, Emotion).

- Experience with UI/UX design principles.

- Experience with performance optimization techniques.

- Experience with accessibility best practices.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- 8+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on Next.js and React.js

- Proven experience in leading and mentoring frontend development teams.

- Strong understanding of frontend architecture and design principles.
