Senior Planning Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Scheduling

• Prepare the Project Master Schedule as per the scope of the project for management approval.
• Develop Macro & Micro Schedules, and track/update them on a weekly basis.
• Track Micro Schedule on a daily basis to highlight and forecast deviations.
• Forecast resource requirements as per schedule, progress, and working strategy.

2. Cost & Cash Flow Management

• Prepare Project Cash Flow as per the approved schedule and track it on a monthly basis.
• Conduct Budget Tracking on a monthly basis for effective cash flow management.

3. Performance Monitoring & Analysis

• Prepare Earned Value Analysis (EVA) to measure project performance against the original plan.
• Prepare and analyze resource requirements and deployment as per the schedule, ensuring allocation aligns with progress.
• Conduct Productivity & Delay Analysis, and forecast the same for risk management and mitigation strategy development.

4. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare and present MIS Reports for management and stakeholder review.
• Prepare Project-Specific Reports as per the requirement.
• Prepare Minutes of Meetings (MoM) and follow up on action items.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Experience: 8 to 12 years and hands on experience of site execution

2. Software Skills: MSP, MS Office & Advanced Excel, Auto cad

3. Knowledge of Construction Technologies, standards & regulations (Civil, Finishing & MEP Works)

4. Strong Analytical, Communication & Problem Solving Skills

5. Should have completed one complete project cycle
