About the Company

Our client is a leading global telecom multinational company operating in 17 countries. Known for its innovation, inclusive culture, and a fast-paced growth environment, the company is looking for a Diversity candidates with strong Indirect tax skills.

Role Responsibilities

The incumbent will oversee the comprehensive tax accounting of indirect tax and validate operations across Africa:

Accounting review of VAT and WHT across 14 OPCOs.
Collaboration with ACE/OPCO (FR & Tax) and HQ tax teams for process standardization and issue resolution.
Provision of support to both internal and external customers on direct tax accounting and reporting matters.
Reconciliation and audit of monthly tax schedules.
Addressing queries raised by internal and statutory audits.
Strengthening processes and finalizing discussions with OPCOs on issues identified during internal reviews.

Qualifications

CA Qualification (Mandatory).
Expertise in indirect tax laws (VAT, WHT).
Proven experience in tax accounting, reconciliations, and audit processes.
Solid understanding of IFRS requirements.
Background in Big 4 consulting is preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

This is a dynamic role with significant exposure to international tax operations and opportunities for process improvements across various geographies.
