Aptly Technology - Azure Databricks Engineer - R/Scala/Python (3-5 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Serve as a primary escalation point for complex technical issues related to the Microsoft Azure platform, with a specialization in Azure Databricks.

- Leverage your deep understanding of Azure Networking Services, Azure Virtual Machines, and Azure Storage to diagnose and resolve infrastructure-related issues impacting Azure Databricks deployments.

- Utilize your expertise in Microsoft Azure Analytics specifically Azure Databricks to troubleshoot and resolve complex data processing, performance, and configuration challenges.

- Apply your knowledge of data integration solutions and services to assist customers with connecting and managing data within the Azure ecosystem and Databricks.

- Employ your familiarity with development tools, languages (JAVA, JavaScript, Python, R, Scala), REST concepts, and PowerShell to analyze logs, configurations, and code snippets to identify root causes.

- Utilize your understanding of service engineering and/or DevOps principles to effectively troubleshoot issues within large-scale, enterprise-level data platforms.

- Collaborate closely with engineering, product development, and other support teams to drive root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for escalated issues.

- Document detailed troubleshooting steps, solutions, and best practices for both internal knowledge sharing and customer guidance specific to Azure Databricks scenarios.

- Act as a technical advocate for customers, ensuring their critical issues are addressed with urgency and expertise.

- Proactively identify potential issues and contribute to the development of knowledge base articles and self-service resources.

Skills Required :

- 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing or support role within one or more of the following: technical escalation support, product support, developer support, IT DevOps, IT Admin/support, Systems Development, or Consulting or IT/Network Operations.

- 2+ years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure Platform.

- Solid understanding and practical experience with Azure Networking Services, Azure Virtual Machines, and Azure Storage.

- Significant experience with Microsoft Azure Analytics, with a strong focus on Azure Databricks.

- Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: JAVA, JavaScript, Python, R, Scala.

- Familiarity with REST concepts and PowerShell scripting.

- Familiarity with development tools, languages, processes, methods, and troubleshooting techniques.

- Experience working with Data Integration solutions and services within the Azure ecosystem.

- Preferred experience with Open-Source technologies relevant to data processing and analytics.

- Understanding of service engineering and/or DevOps principles in the context of large-scale data platforms
