Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Hospital Group

Location: Kolkata

Reports To: Group CEO

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

- Lead operations across multiple hospitals, aligning with the organization's goals.

- Implement best practices for operational efficiency and care quality.

Financial & P&L Management:

- Full P&L responsibility for all hospitals and business units.

- Develop and manage annual budgets in collaboration with CFO and department heads.

- Oversee revenue cycle management, billing, collections, and reimbursements.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

- Collaborate with CEO to develop and execute business strategies and growth plans.

- Lead initiatives for expansion and market competitiveness.

- Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships from an operational perspective.

Quality, Compliance & Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and licensing requirements.

- Oversee quality improvement programs and mitigate operational risks.

People Leadership & Culture:

- Lead and mentor a high-performing operations team, staff engagement and retention.

- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Build relationships with physicians, staff, vendors, and community stakeholders.

- Represent hospital operations in executive and public forums.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field (MBBS + MHA/MBA preferred).

- 5+ years of leadership experience in hospital operations and managing P&L.
