Associate - Business Analyst - Capital Markets/Treasury Domain (4-9 yrs)

1. Experience Requirements:

- Minimum 8 years in Treasury/Markets, Private Banking & Wealth Management

- Minimum 5 years as Business Analyst/SME in Capital Markets Investment Products

- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification (preferred)

2. Domain Knowledge Requirements

- Experience in Wealth Management / Private banking services sector

- Exposure to Buy-Sell Side environment for Investment Products implementation lifecycle

3. Product Implementation Experience

- Capital Markets : Equities, Rates, Bonds, Foreign Exchange, Credit in their Cash, Vanilla, Structured Products (Derivatives/Notes) form

- Strong understanding of investment product lifecycle workflows of implementing at-least one Investment Product lifecycle end-to-end

- Proficient in engaging cross-functional teams (Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations)

4. Change Management

- Have worked previously in Business Change environment as Business Analyst

- Proven track record in large-scale transformation projects

- Experience of working in Waterfall & Agile methodology project management

- Proficiency in Change Management Documentation & Tracking tools:

- Visio

- JIRA

- Confluence

5. Preferred Technical Programming skills: hands-on or exposed to utilizing these tools in solving data drive analysis

- Excel Macro

- Python (for data manipulation and business analytics)

- PowerBI, Tableau or similar (for data Visualization)

6. Knowledge core banking platforms

- Core Banking: Avaloq

- Capital Market Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Capital Market domain, with a focus on products such as Loans, Deposits, and Cash Equities.

- Business Requirements Analysis: Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and business end-users, identifying opportunities for improvement and enhancement.

- Product Understanding: Develop a thorough understanding of capital market products, including Loans, Deposits, and Cash Equities, and their related processes and functionalities.

- Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis techniques to derive meaningful insights from capital market data, supporting data-driven decision-making.

- Functional Specifications: Translate business needs into clear and comprehensive functional requirements for IT teams, ensuring alignment between business and technology.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including business end-users, product managers, and IT teams, to ensure smooth communication and project delivery.

- Process Improvement: Identify process improvement opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to implement changes that enhance efficiency and productivity.

- Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the Capital Market domain, sharing insights with the team and clients.
