Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel (PHP).
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, Qa s and product managers to implement features.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following modern coding standards.
- Perform code reviews and participate in system architecture discussions.
- Debug issues, optimize performance, and improve application security.
- Handle database design, schema changes, and query optimization.
- Maintain version control using Git and follow agile development practices.
- 2 to 3.5 years of hands-on experience with Laravel / Lumen framework .
- Strong knowledge of Core PHP , OOP principles , and MVC architecture .
- Proficiency in MySQL or PostgreSQL .
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Jquery) , and at least one JavaScript framework (e.g., Vue.js is a plus).
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Experience with Git for version control.
- Basic knowledge of queue systems , cron jobs , and caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis, Memcached).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Previous experience creating scalable applications.
- Should know about payment gateway integrations like Stripe, Paypal etc.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Familiarity with tools like Postman, Slack, Jira
