MEP Engineer ( Audio/Video, Broadcast, OTT, Audio )

Qualification: B.E (Electrical/Electronics)

Industry Experience: AV/ Audio/ Broadcast / OTT

Brief synopsis of the position: As an MEP Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing MEP projects from inception to completion. Role will involve coordinating with various stakeholders, including architects, contractors, clients, and suppliers, to ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead and manage MEP projects, ensuring adherence to project objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Design Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other project team members to develop MEP design plans and specifications.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, including reviewing and approving design drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Procurement: Identify MEP equipment and materials required for the project, prepare procurement schedules, and coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery.
• Construction Oversight: Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project costs, prepare cost estimates, and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct quality inspections and audits to ensure the MEP systems meet the required standards and specifications.
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective communication and collaboration with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to address project requirements and resolve any issues.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
