DevOps Engineer :The DevOps Engineer specializing in on-premises Kubernetes administration

and cluster management is responsible for architecting, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing

Kubernetes clusters on local infrastructure. This role ensures the reliability, scalability, and

security of containerized workloads, collaborating closely with development, operations, and

infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, Deploy, and Maintain Kubernetes Clusters
• Set up, configure, and upgrade on-premises Kubernetes clusters.
• Manage cluster lifecycle, including installation, patching, and scaling.
• Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
• Cluster Administration & Operations
• Monitor cluster health and performance, proactively addressing issues.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, and management using Infrastructure as

Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

• Manage storage, networking, and security for Kubernetes environments.
• Implement and enhance security measures, including RBAC, secrets management,

and compliance.

• DevOps & CI/CD Integration
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines for
• containerized applications.
• Deploy and manage applications using Helm charts and GitOps workflows.
• Integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Troubleshooting & Support
• Diagnose and resolve cluster and application issues.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development and operations teams.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or

equivalent experience).

• 3-5 years of experience managing Kubernetes clusters, preferably on-premises.
• Strong Linux administration and scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with networking, storage, and security principles in Kubernetes

environments.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and monitoring tools

(Prometheus, Grafana).

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification is a plus.
