Senior Manager - NPD

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Manager of New Product Development to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of new products and driving innovation within the organization. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working for a beauty or personal care brand and have a strong background in biotechnology or chemistry.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of new products from ideation to launch
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, R&D, and manufacturing, to ensure successful product launches
• Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify new product opportunities
• Understanding of Formulations & Batch manufacturing process is a must.
• Work with suppliers and vendors to minimize costs without compromising the quality of the product.
• Must be able to handle large quantity production.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements and adhere to company standards
• Manage and mentor a team of product development professionals
• Stay up to date on the development of new technologies and provide recommendations on how they could be applied to the Clensta portfolio.
• Manage a comprehensive database that includes all the research insights and information related to suppliers, potential customers, product research, and relevant documents. Additionally, it is essential to have a thorough understanding of the source of ingredients used by manufacturers.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in biotechnology, chemistry, cosmetology or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product development for a beauty or personal care brand
• Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience managing and mentoring a team
• Attending meetings, expos & travel
