Senior Python Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure (5-7 yrs)

Are you a Python expert with a passion for building robust, real-time applications and visual tools? Join us as a Senior Python Engineer, where youll lead the development of high-performance solutions tailored to the oil & gas sector.

Youll work across a powerful tech stack Python, QT, DevOps pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and advanced data visualization collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve real-world engineering problems.

This is a leadership role where your domain knowledge and technical depth will directly impact strategic decisions and operations.

What Youll Be Doing :

- Architect, build, and maintain Python + QT-based software applications.

- Design and develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless integration.

- Manage CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and infrastructure automation (Docker, Kubernetes,

Terraform).

- Create data visualisation dashboards using Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, or D3.js.

- Work closely with domain experts and data teams to support decision-making.

- Lead technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers.

- Drive innovation by integrating the latest tools and frameworks into the pipeline.

What Were Looking For :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Masters preferred).

- 5+ years of software development experience.

- Deep expertise in Python and QT (PyQt/PySide) frameworks.

- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform.

- Proven track record in building and deploying RESTful APIs and working with GraphQL.

- Strong background in data visualisation with libraries like Plotly, D3.js, Seaborn, etc.

- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

- Cloud experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
