Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update employee records in the HRIS and physical files.
- Execute employee lifecycle processes: onboarding, transfers, exits, etc.
- Coordinate with IT and Facilities for new hire setup and offboarding.
- Maintain accurate tracking of attendance, leave, and time-off balances.
- Address day-to-day HR-related queries from employees and managers.
- Administer end-to-end payroll processing for all employees.
- Collect, verify, and reconcile monthly inputs including attendance, leave, bonuses, and deductions.
- Ensure payroll compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, TDS, etc.).
- Liaise with Finance for disbursements and payroll reconciliation.
- Prepare and issue payslips, Form 16, and other payroll-related documentation.
- Manage final settlement calculations for exiting employees.
- Ensure all HR practices and documentation align with local labour laws and regulations.
- Maintain updated records and support labour audits.
- Prepare reports and assist in statutory filings and regulatory submissions.
- Review and update HR policies in accordance with legal changes.
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll and personnel data at all times.
- Identify opportunities to enhance HR operational efficiency and payroll accuracy.
- Standardize and document workflows and SOPs across HR processes.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in HR operations, compliance, and payroll.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll systems, HRIS (e.g GreytHR,), and Excel.
- Solid understanding of local labour laws and statutory deductions (e.g., PF, ESIC, income tax).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
