Java Scala Developer - Microservices Architecture (4-6 yrs)

Location : Bangalore, India

Experience : 4 to 6 Years

Job Type : Full- time / Permanent

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 days preferred

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Scala

- Work with microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, and event- driven systems

- Collaborate with cross- functional teams for solution design and delivery

- Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices

- Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues across distributed systems

- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers if needed

- Follow Agile methodologies for sprint planning and execution

Required Skills :

- 46 years of strong software development experience in Java and Scala

- Solid understanding of OOP, functional programming, and design patterns

- Experience working with Spring/Spring Boot, Akka, or Play Framework

- Strong hands- on experience with Scala collections, futures, and functional constructs

- Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems

- Good exposure to REST APIs, JSON/XML, and Web Services

- Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

- Version control with Git and experience using tools like JIRA, Confluence
