Contus - Senior Product Designer - Figma/Photoshop (4-5 yrs)

Designation/Level : Sr Product Designer. UX/Product Designer.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in a related field.

- Completion of a comprehensive UX/UI design program or certification is mandatory.

Experience :

- 4 - 5 years of proven experience in Product Design, with a strong focus on designing for diverse digital platforms, including mobile applications, responsive web interfaces, dashboards, and TV experiences.

Skills Required :

- Design Tools : Expert proficiency in Figma, Jira, InVision, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe After Effects.

- User Research & Analysis : Demonstrated expertise in conducting user research, developing user personas and scenarios, creating design systems and UI pattern libraries, performing contextual inquiry, and facilitating focus groups.

- Information Architecture & Interaction Design : Strong understanding and practical application of heuristic evaluation, customer journey mapping, affinity mapping, task flow analysis, and information architecture principles.

Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end design process for complex digital products and features, from initial concept and user research to detailed design specifications and implementation support.

- Conduct thorough user research to deeply understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points, and translate these insights into actionable design solutions.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems and UI pattern libraries to ensure consistency and scalability across all product platforms.

- Create user personas, scenarios, and customer journey maps to guide the design process and align product strategy with user needs.

- Apply heuristic evaluation techniques to identify usability issues and recommend design improvements.

- Design and prototype user interfaces for mobile applications, responsive websites, dashboards, and TV experiences, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience across all touchpoints.

- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure design feasibility.

- Effectively communicate design concepts, user research findings, and design rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence and continuous improvement within the team.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and incorporate them into the design process as appropriate.

- Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices throughout the product development lifecycle.
