Data Analyst

Role & responsibilities

Within CMR, your responsibilities will include:

a. Interpret data, analyze results and provide reports

b. Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns

c. Perform analysis on defects :

d. Filter and clean data (eliminate false positive) and review or have code problems

corrected

e. For actual issues, analyze root causes and coordinate remediation, Locate and define

new process improvements opportunities (control enhancements, cross-regulations

checks …)

f. Perform ad-hoc transversal data analysis (on specific asset classes, regulation, topics

)

g. Create dashboards, implement KPIs to give a consistent and readable view of results

of analysis to the management

h. Streamline and automate the communication regarding the production status to the

business departments, the management and the regulators

Preferred candidate profile

Degree holder from discipline in Mathematics, Statistics and Finance or Economics preferred

• Seniority level : 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role with a foreign Bank

• Knowledge of financial products

• Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amount of

information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

• Knowledge of regulations such as EMIR, DFA, CSA, MiFiD II, SFTR, MMSR or SMMD
