Shift Engineer - Machine shop Quality

Role & responsibilities

1. Engineering Drawing Knowledge required.

2. Machined components inspection Knowledge required.

3. Instrument calibration knowledge required.

4. CNC Machine stage Inspection Knowledge required.

5. Third Party inspector handling knowledge required.

6. Export Sample document preparation knowledge required.

7. Sub-contractor quality audit knowledge required.

8. Conduct daily meeting to reduce rework and rejection by usingproblemsolving7QC tools

9. Inspecting machined components for dimensional accuracy and surface finish.

10. Implementing quality control procedures like SPC (Statistical Process Control).

11. Using precision measurement tools such as CMMs, micrometers, and calipers.

12. Experience in special process

13. Problem solving techniques like 8D, Pareto, why why analysis, cause and effect diagram.

14. Quality system documentation i.e. ensure that all documents and records related to a companys products or services meet the required standards of quality.

15. Reviewing and verifying document record to ensure compliance with regulations and internal quality control practices.

16. Meticulously managing and updating documentation to maintain the integrity of an organizations quality assurance processes.

17. Collaborating with production teams to improve processes and reduce waste.

Root cause analysis, Root cause validation and simulation trail done as per PFD.

Preferred candidate profile

BE - Mechanical candidates with 5+ years of experience in machine shop quality and who is willing work in shift as an in charge.

Should have handled low volume, heavy size and high accuracy process done, also good in quality documentation caliber.
