Role Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Cluster Manager - Investment Products to lead our high-performing wealth management team. The role is responsible for managing the P&L of the assigned cluster, growing the HNI client base, and ensuring consistent delivery of investment advisory and wealth management services. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, deep domain knowledge of equity and investment products, and a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities
P&L Management:
- Own and manage the profit and loss accountability of the cluster, ensuring revenue growth and cost efficiency.
Team Leadership:
- Build, lead, and mentor a team of Relationship Managers and Investment Advisors. Drive team performance through regular reviews and strategic direction.
Client Acquisition & Retention:
- Expand the HNI customer base through proactive acquisition strategies and relationship building. Ensure superior client retention through tailored portfolio management and ongoing engagement.
Investment Advisory:
- Deliver timely, research-backed equity and investment recommendations tailored to client needs (trading and long-term investment).
Cross-Sell & Upsell:
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to cross-sell financial products including mutual funds, PMS, bonds, and structured products.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, operational, and internal compliance frameworks. Regularly monitor surveillance alerts and risk metrics.
Client Experience:
- Enhance client satisfaction by delivering best-in-class advisory services and post-sales support. Maintain high NPS scores.
Collaboration:
- Conduct joint client meetings with Relationship Managers and other stakeholders to drive client success.
Daily Expectations
- Conduct minimum 3 client meetings daily, ensuring high engagement and service quality.
- Perform daily team reviews, coaching, and performance assessments.
- Drive execution of investment strategies based on current market analysis.
- Ensure regulatory and operational compliance is continuously met.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in any discipline (mandatory)
Preferred: MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA / ICWA
Certifications: NCFM / AMFI or other relevant financial certifications
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in financial markets, preferably in a leadership or team management role
- Demonstrated track record in HNI client acquisition, investment advisory, and P&L management
Technical Proficiency:
- Strong knowledge of investment and equity products
- Hands-on experience with portfolio management platforms and CRM systems
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
