PHP/Laravel/MySQL/ Postgres SQL Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend solutions using PHP and Laravel for a University Management Application.
• Design, implement, and manage databases using MySQL., Postgres SQL
• Work closely with senior management to align technical efforts with business objectives.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
• Participate in the design and development of scalable architecture for future system enhancements.
• Engage in Agile project management practices, including sprint planning and stand-up meetings.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements and progress.
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing best practices and performing code reviews.

Requirements:

• Proven Over 3 years experience as a PHP Developer with expertise in Laravel / CI framework.
• Strong proficiency in MySQL, Postgres SQL and database design/management.
• Solid understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience reporting to senior management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Experience with University Management Systems or similar large-scale applications is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an educational or administrative software project.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and deployment tools.
• Experience with testing tools like PHPUnit and familiarity with CI/CD processes.

Work Model:

• Full-Time, Hybrid Model: The candidate must be available to work in-office for part of the week and remotely as required. Candidates must be flexible to adapt to project demands and management schedules. There will be onsite client tour and travels
