JOB DESCRIPTION
- Designation: Manager Instrumentation Maintenance Function: Engineering
- Location: K8 Taloja Sector: Manufacturing
- The primary purpose of this role is to achieve smooth functioning & to ensure maximum availability of all instrumentation installations/equipment in the area adhering to safe & quality maintenance practices/repairs at minimum cost and quick response to minimize plant downtime at optimum cost.
- Overview/ Responsibilities: As a , you will be expected
- Key Accountabilities for the position
- Major Tasks for the position
- Take corrective actions to solve the problems.
- To take regular, periodic plant rounds in all Control rooms and Plants under him to check/ensure healthy operating conditions, notice abnormalities and critical problems.
- Planning and execution of job. Plan and assign jobs to workmen and follow up with
- Interact with various departments. Like
- Process / Mech. / Elect / Stores / Purchase / Safety to execute
- instrument maintenance jobs effectively with respect to
- quality, safety, cost and time of completion.
- Trouble free functioning in field. Ensure all faulty instruments are serviced/repaired and
- calibrated in Workshop with quality
- Spare Management for minimizing the break
- Raise Purchase Requisitions and get approval of
- Supervisor for procurement of necessary spares
- required for instrument maintenance jobs.
- Assist in failure analysis and implement
- recommendations to avoid repetitive failures or
- persistent problems in process instruments and systems
- Training of Inst. Technician on various
- instrumentation systems as per training plan. Identify training needs for technicians to cater to their development.
- Prepare annual budget proposals for spares, manpower
- requirements, any new modification proposal and get it
- Educational Qualifications Total years of experience
- BE Instrumentation 7-9 years of experience
- Technical /Functional Expertise:
- Skills in fault diagnosis and rectification of routine instrument problems in plant. Technical skills for sound, cost effective and quality repairs /overhauling of instruments in
- workshop. Skills to plan instrument jobs systematically with proper job prioritization and job coordination. Skills for administration and effective monitoring of Department function. Training and Development of subordinates. Job hazards and job safety in his area of work. Hands on experience of SAP system especially PM module Erection & commissioning of new modifications from inst. Side Also Achieving on-stream factor of
