Job Description

- The ideal candidate should have a strong background in risk management, vendor assessments, and a good understanding of security and compliance frameworks
- Key Responsibilities:Vendor Risk Assessment:Develop and implement a comprehensive vendor risk assessment program
- Evaluate and assess potential and existing vendors based on security, compliance, financial, and operational criteria
- Risk Identification and Analysis:Identify and analyze potential risks associated with vendor relationships
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine risk tolerance and mitigation strategies
- Compliance Review:Conduct compliance reviews to ensure vendors adhere to industry standards, regulations, and contractual obligations
- Stay informed about changes in regulatory requirements relevant to vendor management
- Security Assessment:Assess the cybersecurity posture of vendors, including their information security policies, controls, and incident response capabilities
- Collaborate with the IT security team to address and mitigate identified security risks
- Due Diligence:Perform due diligence on vendors during the onboarding process and periodically throughout the vendor relationship
- Review vendor financial stability and business continuity plans
- Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vendor risk assessments
- Generate and communicate reports on vendor risk status to relevant stakeholders
- Vendor Relationship Management:Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to incorporate risk management into vendor contracts and agreements
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors
- Continuous Monitoring:Implement continuous monitoring mechanisms to track changes in vendor risk profiles
- Develop and automate processes for ongoing risk assessment
