Job Description
- Diverse Lynx is looking for Avaya Voice Engineer to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
- The Avaya Voice Engineer plays a crucial role in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of Avaya-based communication systems within an organization
- The individual is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of voice and unified communications infrastructure
- Responsibilities:Design and Implementation:Design and deploy Avaya-based voice solutions tailored to the organization's requirements
- Configure and integrate Avaya Communication Manager, Session Manager, and other relevant components
- Implement and support VoIP technologies, SIP trunking, and other communication protocols
- System Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the health and performance of Avaya systems
- Conduct system upgrades, patches, and updates in a timely manner
- Monitor system logs and performance metrics to proactively identify and address issues
- Troubleshooting:Investigate and resolve technical issues related to Avaya voice and unified communications systems
- Collaborate with other IT teams to diagnose and resolve network and connectivity problems
- Security:Implement security best practices to safeguard Avaya communication systems
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities
- Documentation:Maintain comprehensive documentation for Avaya configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
- Provide training to end-users and support staff as needed
- Collaboration:Work closely with other IT professionals, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with other systems
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement communication strategies aligned with business goals
- Capacity Planning:Monitor system usage trends and participate in capacity planning to ensure scalability
- Recommend upgrades or enhancements to meet growing business needs
- Emergency Support:Provide on-call support for critical issues and participate in the resolution of emergencies affecting communication systems
