Role Overview :
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Business Analyst with strong Scrum expertise to join our Product and Delivery team. This individual will work closely with stakeholders across departments to gather, document, and analyze business requirements and ensure their successful execution within an Agile/Scrum framework. The role demands a balance of technical knowledge, business acumen, and interpersonal skills to ensure the product meets user and business expectations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with stakeholders (product owners, customers, developers, QA teams) to gather and define business and functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria, and process flows within Scrum and Agile environments.
- Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clear understanding of project objectives and deliverables.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and develop use cases to support system changes or enhancements.
- Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Assist Product Owners in maintaining a prioritized product backlog.
- Work with QA teams to define test cases and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and product validation.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes as needed to support requirements definition.
- Track and report project progress, identify risks, and escalate issues for timely resolution.
- Promote best practices in business analysis and Agile delivery, and help educate stakeholders in Agile methodologies.
Required Qualifications & Skills :
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in technology or events-related domains.
- Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments; Scrum certification (CSM, CSPO, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Expertise in business process modeling, documentation, and requirements elicitation techniques.
- Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, Visio, or similar.
- Ability to create detailed BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
