About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Account Manager to join our team. In this managerial role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business objectives and maximize revenue opportunities. You will serve as the key liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring superior customer service and seamless communication throughout the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of effective sales strategies aligned with the company's business plan to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing comprehensive information on product lines, addressing client needs, and delivering tailored solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and new business opportunities to stay competitive - and identify growth avenues.
- Oversee and coordinate customer service activities, ensuring timely follow-ups and the smooth shipment of orders.
- Document and analyze sales calls and client feedback, communicating insights clearly to marketing, technical, and other internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met effectively.
- Manage administrative responsibilities including accurate forecasting, sales reporting, and call documentation to support strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and guide junior sales team members, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve team goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-7 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG, Flavor & Fragrances, or Chemicals/Ingredients industries.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; MBA or postgraduate qualification in Business Administration is a strong advantage.
- Proven leadership, communication, and client management skills with a strategic mindset.
