Senior Salesforce CPQ Developer (5-7 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end Salesforce CPQ solutions, including product configuration, pricing rules, guided selling, advanced approvals, quote amendments, and renewals.

- Configure and optimize CPQ Product Rules and Price Rules to align with complex business logic and discounting strategies.

- Develop custom quote calculator scripts within CPQ to implement advanced discounting and total calculations.

- Write robust, scalable, and efficient Apex code, including Apex Triggers, Batch Apex, and Scheduled Apex, to support CPQ functionalities and other business processes.

- Develop modern, responsive user interfaces using Lightning Web Components (LWC) to enhance the CPQ user experience and other Salesforce applications.

- Utilize Salesforce Flows to automate complex business processes and streamline user workflows.

- Implement and customize document generation solutions using tools like Conga and Adobe within the Salesforce CPQ framework.

- Leverage Omni Studio Document Generator to build sophisticated proposal templates and other customer-facing documents.

- Design, develop, and implement integrations between Salesforce (specifically CPQ) and SAP for order invoicing and other transactional data flow.

- Develop and implement Sales Order Entry Forms to push validated data from Salesforce CPQ into SAP ERP systems.

- Develop logic for software installations using server ID and host ID as part of the order processing and fulfillment.

- Proficiently utilize JSON for data exchange and interact with external systems.

- Leverage Mulesoft for building and managing integrations between Salesforce and various enterprise applications.

- Write efficient SOQL and SOSL queries to interact with the Salesforce database.

- Develop and execute comprehensive test scripts for CPQ functionalities, including unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Utilize automation tools like AccelQ to create and maintain automated test scripts, ensuring high code quality and release reliability.

- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Project Managers, and other developers to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and ensure successful project delivery.

- Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5+ years of dedicated experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a strong focus on Salesforce CPQ implementations.

- Expert-level proficiency in Salesforce CPQ configuration, including Product & Price Rules, Advanced Approvals, Quote Amendments, and Renewals.

- Hands-on expertise in Salesforce custom development: Apex code, Apex Triggers, Flows, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

- Proven experience integrating Salesforce with SAP for order invoicing and related data flows.

- Experience with document generation tools like Conga and Adobe within the Salesforce ecosystem.

- Proficiency in utilizing Omni Studio for building proposal templates and other functionalities.

- Strong understanding and practical experience with JSON for data handling.

- Solid knowledge and experience with Mulesoft for enterprise integrations.

- Expertise in writing efficient SOQL and SOSL queries.

- Demonstrated experience in implementing Sales Order Entry Forms to push data into SAP ERP systems.

- Experience in developing logic for software installations using server ID and host ID.

- Proven ability to configure product rules, price rules, approval workflows, and custom quote calculator scripts for complex discount and total calculations.

- Experience in creating test scripts with automation tools, preferably AccelQ.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Preferred (Bonus) Skills :

- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I / II.

- Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist.

- Experience with other Salesforce Clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Knowledge of broader enterprise architecture patterns.
