Data Architect

Roles and Responsibilities:

Take ownership of teams deliverables in the areas of data cataloguing, metadata enrichment, data quality management, master data management, data control and auditing

Monitor teams deliverables very closely and handhold as required (team members experience range from 0 to 15 years).

Lead the daily standup meetings, required follow ups with different stakeholders, etc.

Report the status to superiors

Must Have:

12-17 years of experience in data related projects

6+ years of deep hands-on experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Master Data Management

Well-rounded skills and experience in design, development, and project management (this is required for the individual to be able to understand practical problems faced by the team members at different levels)

Must have Agile delivery experience

Solid conceptual knowledge, implementation experience and hands-on tool experience related to data governance, data quality, data cataloguing, metadata enrichment, metadata management, reference data management

Good verbal and written communication skills

Go-getter and aggressive in execution

Should be able to work with very little direction

Should be current with latest trends in cloud data engineering, AI/ML (at least at conceptual level)

• Hands-on experience in SQL, Python, DevOps, ETL, cloud data engineering is a big plus
