Role Overview
The Senior Manager Sales will be responsible for leading the sales function, optimizing processes, and driving revenue growth at Finvasia.
This individual must have a strong background in the Banking sector, a proven track record in managing teams, and a demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
The ideal candidate will focus on market penetration, team leadership, client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies that drive the growth of Personal Loans, Business Loans, MSME Loans, Two-Wheeler Loans, Four-Wheeler Loans, Home Loans, and Loan Against Property.
- Ensure alignment of sales efforts with Finvasias business goals.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets across all loan products.
- Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and foster a culture of high performance and growth.
Revenue & Target Management:
- Set and manage revenue targets for all loan products.
- Monitor sales performance, track KPIs, and manage the sales pipeline to maximize profitability.
- Drive the team to consistently meet and exceed targets.
Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with prospective clients for various loan products.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions for clients' financial needs.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring that their loan requirements are met with personalized solutions.
- Focus on long-term partnerships by offering value-added services and ensuring client satisfaction.
Market Analysis & Competitor Insights:
- Stay up to date on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.
- Use this market intelligence to adjust sales strategies, stay competitive, and identify growth opportunities for each loan category.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with internal teams from Marketing, Operations, Credit, and Risk Management to ensure seamless execution of the sales process from lead generation to loan disbursement.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and forecasts for senior management.
- Use analytics to refine strategies and improve sales results for loan products.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure that all sales activities adhere to regulatory guidelines and Finvasias compliance framework.
- Promote ethical sales practices and ensure that risks associated with loan acquisitions are minimized.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required.
- An MBA is preferred.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in a sales leadership role within the NBFC, banking, or financial services industry, with specific experience in selling loan products.
- Proven success in managing sales teams and achieving loan-related targets.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong ability to drive results in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of loan products (Personal Loans, Business Loans, MSME Loans, Two-Wheeler Loans, Four-Wheeler Loans, Home Loans, Loan Against Property) and the financial services market.
- Experience in developing strategic sales plans and managing sales forecasts for loan products.
- Leadership and team management skills with a focus on mentoring and motivating teams.
