To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we re looking to add Senior Engineer - Quality Assurance in Chennai, India.

What a typical day looks like:

• Understand end-to-end testing requirements and create/maintain test plans, test cases for functionality and system testing.
• Strong in hands-on knowledge on UI/API/Functional Testing.
• Perform Data related Testing using MySQL.
• Identify Non-functional Testing as/when required for the Testing.
• Log, track, and verify defects using provided defect tracking tools.
• Exposure to use Test Management Tools for effective Test Management.
• Run scripts/Contribute to Test Scripts/Codeless Test Automation Development/Enhancement.
• Participate in the enhancement of the continuous integration platform used to test all our projects.
• Communicate test results to identify risks, dependencies and escalate the same in a timely manner.
• Should assume the responsibility for end-to-end product delivery
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
• Ability to work independently for own tasks and collaboratively with rest of the team to achieve common goals.
• Work closely with the Business and development team to understand product architecture and functionality.
• Work with Global team encompassing multiple time zones as required.

The experience we re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in functional testing of Web based applications.
• 3-6 years of work experience in test automation using Selenium or Katalon Studio or PlayWright or API Automation.
• 8-12 years of experience working in an Agile Scrum Team.
• Candidate who is willing to work both in Manual and Automation Testing in 60:40 ratio.
• Experience in writing and understanding DB queries with any of databases.
• Experience in performing API Testing using Postman.
• Should be versed in using JIRA as a Defect Tracking Tool.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with a globally distributed team in a high performance organization.
• Effective verbal and written Communication skills.
• Proactive, willing to take ownership, ability to quickly learn new technologies and take up new tasks and initiatives
• Should have excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
• In-depth knowledge of test case creation and test case execution.
• Experience in analyzing the Business requirements / user stories
• Experience with all phases of software testing for both Functional and Non-Functional Testing based on Project Need(Functional, Integration, Regression, User Acceptance, and Release Management).
• Experience in any of the Test Management Tools like Zephyr/Zephyr Scale/Xray/Test Rail etc. ,
• Ability to provide proper QA Estimations for the tasks assigned with Sprint.
• Knowledge working on any of the Database as MongoDB, Snowflake.
• Exposed to any of the Non-functional Testing such as Performance/Load/Stress Testing using Jmeter or any related tools.
