One of the US based growing Fin Tech firm is looking to hire Head of Product for their operations in India. Job Type: Permanent & Work From Home

Job Location: Mumbai

Qualification: B.Tech / B.E or any other equivalent from Tier 1 academic institutions

Responsibilities:

Product Leadership and Strategy:

- Set vision & strategy for the India product and evangelize it effectively across the entire company

- Collaborate with stakeholders across Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Credit, and Operations to define an India product roadmap

- Research and ideate new avenues for growth and new products that could help our customers

- Stay informed of industry trends and regulations

Team Management:

- Manage the India Product Team, which includes Product Management, User Research, and Design

- Recruit and train new Product Team members to build a high-performing team

- Mentor team in professional growth and foster a culture of innovation and learning

Execution and Delivery

- Define and monitor key product metrics

- Review, edit, and approve team OKRs, PRDs, status reports, roadmaps, and feature designs

- Implement robust QA and release processes to ensure a quality product for our customers

Qualifying Criteria:

- You have 10 to 20 years of total experience with a proven track record in a leadership role within a product team, and at least 5+ years in financial services. .

- You see the big picture and know what levers to pull to achieve company goals. You have a great nose for value and understand what drives metrics and financial performance.

- Strong communication skills, who knows how to tell a compelling story and lay out a vision for the product.

Kindly Note:

- Fin Tech experience for the past 5+ yrs is mandatory. Experience in NBFC with MSME Loans / MSME Lending background would be a great plus.

- Candidates from early stage start ups would be the ideal.
