Program Manager - VLSI & Design Verification (8-11 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager with a strong background in VLSI design and verification to lead and coordinate cross-functional silicon development programs.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in RTL design, verification, DFT, and physical design (PD) processes, along with excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities :

Program Management :

- Own end-to-end delivery of complex SoC/ASIC development programs from concept to tape-out.

- Define program scope, schedule, resources, risks, and deliverables.

- Drive cross-functional teams including RTL, DV, PD, DFT, validation, and software teams.

- Establish and track project plans, milestones, and critical paths using project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).

- Facilitate technical and program reviews, ensuring adherence to quality and timelines.

Technical Oversight :

- Understand and communicate key architectural decisions, design trade-offs, and their impact on downstream teams.

- Review and support RTL design, functional verification, and DFT implementation to ensure alignment across all teams.

- Coordinate with PD teams to manage floorplanning, timing closure, and physical constraints.

- Collaborate with test, validation, and software teams to ensure post-silicon readiness.

Risk Management :

- Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.

- Escalate issues to leadership with clear analysis and recommendations.

Stakeholder Communication :

- Serve as the primary point of contact between engineering teams, senior management, and external partners.

- Provide regular updates, dashboards, and executive summaries.

Required Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in VLSI/SoC development, including :

1. RTL design (Verilog/SystemVerilog).

2. Design Verification (UVM/OVM methodologies).

3. Physical Design flows and signoff (floorplanning, P&R, STA).

4. Design for Testability (scan insertion, ATPG, MBIST).

- 8+ years of program/project management experience in silicon development.

- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional silicon projects to successful tape-out.

- Excellent knowledge of silicon development lifecycle from architecture to bring-up.

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- PMP or Agile certification.

- Experience with EDA tools from Synopsys, Cadence, or Siemens.

- Familiarity with high-volume production and silicon validation processes.

- Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
