Head - Airport Master Planning

JOB PURPOSE

To Manage the Operations, Maintenance, Renovation and construction activities of IGIA Landside & Airside civil at DIAL as per customer expectations and OMDA requirements in compliance with OMDA, ICAO, DGCA, BCAS and AAI regulations along with maintaining the serviceability and Availability above 99% The main objective of AGM Airside & landside (Civil) to provide guidance to team down the line so that all areas are maintained at the desired serviceability & availability levels as per requirement and ensure that all customers i.e. Stakeholders/Operation (Airside & Cityside) / Airlines / Customs / Immigrations and CISFs expectations are met on a timely manner.Looking after Projects, maintenance & procurement works related to Airside and Landside works ,to ensure the smooth operation with qualitative progress, safety of respective packages at all the time.Conducting training program for the team and to develop Talent pipeline and succession planning at each level.Maintaining Serviceability >99 % moving towards zero pending complaints with complete RCA and to Prepare history sheet of every work for future review, monitoring and precautionary measures.Reduction in Capex and Opex cost for allocated budget by value engineering and optimizing the use of existing machinery and man power, achieving recovery cost and initiation & implementation of cost saving measures for each contract/works, initiating, monitoring and Processing of NFA/PR/PO within the stipulated timelines and SOP. Certification and payments to vendors as per the contracts. Strengthening of SLAs Monitoring, identification of non-compliances, preparation of documents for audits & closure of observations, SI and Zero tolerance. To ensure that the team down the line is continuously participating in key quality initiatives like CIP, 5S, Kaizen, EnMS, BLIP, Cost Containment, and also supporting different audit groups such as MAG, ISO, BCMS and assessments.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accountabilities To ensure compliance with ICAO standards & recommended practices and DGCA (CAR). To ensure that development do not infringe master plan provisions. Terminal capacity expansion planning after in-depth analysis of peak hour passenger traffic, types of processors, no. of processors, throughput survey, passenger profile survey, no. of baggage per passenger and baggage handling system analysis. Introduction of new technologies in passenger terminal for optimization of capacity and enhancement in passenger experience. The terminal has to have flexibility to adopt new technologies, easy to modify or upgrading retail and F&B concept, signage and way findings. Best Industry practices followed at top world class airports Ensure compliance with Concession Agreement and compliances with all applicable standards.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

• B.E Civil/Architecture.
• Sound knowledge of ICAO Standards & Recommended practices, ICAO Aerodrome & Service Manuals, IATA Guidelines ADRM, DGCA CAR, FAA Advisory Circulars, NBC, BIS Standards.
• Use of software for A-CADD, Path Planner, Tools for Simulation Techniques, Spread Sheet Models, Queuing Theory Application
