Purchase Workflow Management Merchandising

Job Description

  • As the Merchandiser, you have ownership over executing the merchandising workflow to secure the best product offer. You have shared responsibilities in driving one or more processes in the development, quotation and order follow up processes as per the set plan/ goals to secure the best deal for products.
Job Responsibilities -
 
1. Collaboratively work with Product (Purchasing) Merchandisers, the Buying Office/Global Purchasing Organization and other functions, working as one team with shared responsibilities.
2. Responsible for managing requests and orders, following the company routines/methods and ensuring best deals and on time delivery.
3. Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders through effective negotiation skills and efficient communication to secure the best deal, and proactively follow up orders to secure the best quality and on time delivery.
4. Clear understanding of the priorities (of the Buying Office/Global Purchasing Organization) and balance their needs in the most efficient way. Work in a structured way and able to prioritize.
Travel- Biweekly visits to suppliers in North India.
  • Technical skills-Lamps and lamp shades material, product knowledge technical knowledge will be preferred.
  • Soft skills- strong and clear communication skills, presentation skills, go getter attitude
