Job Description
- Collaborate with product owners, designers and architects on all phases of the application life cycle: requirements, design, implementation, documentation and testing-
- Optimize new and existing code for usability, responsiveness & maintenance-
- Create performant web components and libraries that empower other application developers-
- Participate in code reviews-
- Collaborate with other engineering teams across the company-
You are a fast learner and are comfortable working with little direction- You take initiative and bring up ideas- In addition you have the following:
- B-Tech/B-E/B-S dagree in Computer Science or equivalent-
- 5+ years of experience building scalable commercial web applications for an international user base-
- 3+ years of experience building responsive single page applications with a modern application framework such as Angular, React or Vue-
- Expertise with HTML5, SCSS, CSS3, ES6 and Typescript
- Expertise with modern web development tools such as Python, NodeJS, npm, yarn, webpack, ESLint and Docker-
- Ability to translate UX design wireframes into pixel perfect web applications-
- Databases: Knowledge of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases-
- Familiarity with REST APIs-
- Familiarity with test frameworks such as Mocha, Jasmine, Cypress and Selenium and CI/CD systems such as Gitlab, Jenkins and GoCD-
