Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Infrastructure Management :

- Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, etc.).

- Implement autoscaling, load balancing, and high availability strategies.

- Ensure cost optimization and cloud security compliance using industry best practices.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or similar tools.

- Maintain and evolve IaC modules to support fast and reliable environment creation.

Monitoring & Logging :

- Set up system monitoring using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.

- Manage centralized logging using ELK Stack, AWS CloudWatch Logs, or Splunk.

- Design and implement alerting and incident response workflows.

Automation & Scripting :

- Write custom scripts (Bash, Python) for automating tasks like backups, failovers, performance tuning.

- Continuously automate repetitive processes to improve system reliability.

CI/CD Pipeline Management :

- Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS Code Pipeline.

- Collaborate with developers to enable secure, fast, and stable deployments.

Database & Infrastructure Management :

- Administer SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.

- Set up automated backups, replication, and disaster recovery workflows.

- Monitor and fine-tune database performance and uptime.

Security & Compliance :

- Enforce AWS security best practices IAM policies, encrypted data, and secure access controls.

- Work with the security team to implement vulnerability management and remediation plans.

- Support compliance audits through detailed documentation and logging.

Collaboration

- Work closely with developers, IT, and security teams to ensure end-to-end system health.
- Participate in infrastructure planning and architecture decisions.

Required Qualifications

Experience :

- 45 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or system administration.

- Strong experience managing AWS cloud environments and implementing IaaS/PaaS solutions.

Technical Skills :

- Proficient in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.

- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Shell, and preferably Python.

- Hands-on with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK Stack, etc.).

- Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker (Kubernetes is a plus).

- Experience managing relational and non-relational databases.

Preferred Qualifications :

- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect).

- Experience with Kubernetes or AWS EKS.

- Strong grasp of DevOps best practices, cloud-native architecture, and SRE principles.

- Experience in logistics, warehousing, or similar operational tech environments is a plus.
