Vice President - Venture Capital (10-15 yrs)

Job Description

Investments and Transaction Execution

- Source and analyze investment opportunities

- Conduct thorough due diligence of markets, companies, promoters, and management of potential investee companies

- Lead structuring, negotiations, and execution

- Prepare investment memos, presentations, and related materials

- Contribute to LP engagement including regular reporting and fundraising

- Manage a pool of associates and analysts through behavior modelling and mentoring to achieve fund KPIs and develop team members

- Coordinate with portfolio companies to set, achieve, and report Impact and ESG targets

- Suggest improvements to approach, processes, products, and services

Key Requirements

- 13-15 years' experience with at least 7 years in growth capital/PE investing, preferably in climate & environment, infrastructure, clean-tech, impact, or SME investing

- Proven interest in solving complex issues and situations

- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships; existing peer and industry network preferred

- Strong investment track record, preferably through a full fund lifecycle

- Expertise in deal structuring, due diligence, and closing processes

- Proven ability to mentor and develop team members

- Fundraising experience with institutional investors preferred
