Job Description
- You will play a pivotal role in shaping the product strategy, defining and delivering high-impact features, and ensuring they meet both customer needs and business goals
- As a product lead in a fast-paced startup, you are expected to be customer-obsessed, data-informed, and excited about advocating product growth strategies to company leadership while following up with demonstrable results
- Your ideas and approaches will need to have enough conviction, data, and projected benefits to influence senior stakeholders across teams such as Engineering, Support, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales
- What you will be working on: Customer-Centric Problem Solving: Identify and prioritize problems to solve by deeply understanding customer pain points and stakeholder needs
- Your selections will be driven by well-articulated problem statements and innovative solutions backed by thorough market and competitive research
- Product Definition Delivery: Craft product specifications that start with the "why," ensuring they are comprehensive yet concise and readable
- Collaborate seamlessly with architects, engineers, and designers to successfully ship the product
- Take full ownership of scope, schedule, and quality
- Validate outcomes and iterate rapidly
- Beyond Feature Building: Recognize that success in B2B products is not just about adding capabilities
- They are about driving business impact
- Work closely with marketing, support, growth and customer success teams to maximize reach and implement changes that increase signups, conversions and adoption
- Leadership and Team Development: Manage and mentor Product Managers
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment
- Guide PMs through the product lifecycle and ensure efficient team performance
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product goals, and progress to stakeholders
- Present product updates clearly and compellingly
- Influence product decisions and translate technical concepts for all audiences
- What we are looking for: Experience: 8+ years of overall experience in Software tech or a product-driven environment, with at least 2 yearsin a role leading a team of product managers in a B2B SaaS organization
- Growth Mindset Analytical Skills: Demonstrated success in growth-oriented projects requiring experimentation, iteration, and strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in leveraging analytics tools, customer feedback, and success signals to drive product improvements is critical
- Aproven track record of building and scaling products that meet user needs and business goals
- Intuitive Design: Ability to develop simple and intuitive user experiences for self-serve products like Hiver
- You should be a tech craftsperson with an eye for detail
- Technical Acumen: Previous experience in technology roles is essential
- You must possess a strong understanding of technology platforms, integrations, and system design to collaborate effectively with engineering architects and leads
