Overview:

We are hiring an experienced Area Manager to lead our Banca Channel operations in the Palakkad cluster. This role is ideal for professionals with solid banca handling experience and a background in life insurance sales. You will manage multiple bank branches and lead a team of Sales Managers and Bancassurance Officers to drive business growth through strong bank partner relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and motivate a high-performing team with strong team handling capabilities across multiple bank branches in Palakkad.
  
• Drive banca channel sales through deep engagement with partner bank staff and branch leadership.
  
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets through strategic planning and on-ground execution.
  
• Ensure seamless banca integration, building strong rapport with banking partners to drive life insurance penetration.
  
• Conduct regular branch visits, joint fieldwork, and partner engagement sessions to promote product awareness and lead generation.
  
• Analyze sales metrics and provide actionable feedback to the team for continuous improvement.
  
• Identify business opportunities and customer segments to expand market reach within the Palakkad cluster.
  
• Conduct training and capability-building workshops for bank staff and internal teams.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal audit standards.
  
• Collaborate with the central team for product promotions, marketing campaigns, and business development initiatives.
  
• Prepare regular performance reports and insights for review by senior management.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree.
  
• Minimum 7 years of experience in life insurance sales with proven banca handling experience and team management.
  
• Strong knowledge of insurance products and the bancassurance model.
  
• Excellent relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Current employment in a life insurance company (LI) preferred.
