Hub Incharge

Job Purpose:

To manage the day-to-day operations of the hub, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of shipments, team coordination, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), safety standards, and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Hub Operations Management:

• Oversee inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
  
• Monitor sorting, packaging, and dispatching processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  
• Ensure proper scanning and documentation of all shipments.
  
• Maintain quality control standards and address operational issues promptly.
  

2. Team Management:

• Supervise, train, and evaluate hub staff, including loaders, sorters, delivery executives, and supervisors.
  
• Prepare shift schedules and assign duties to ensure 24/7 operations (if applicable).
  
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
  

3. Inventory & Resource Management:

• Maintain records of all shipments and stock levels (packaging material, equipment, etc.).
  
• Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of hub assets (vans, scanning devices, etc.).
  

4. Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and local laws.
  
• Conduct regular safety audits and training.
  
• Report incidents, damages, or losses immediately.
  

5. MIS & Reporting:

• Maintain and share daily, weekly, and monthly reports on hub performance, shipment volumes, manpower utilization, and SLA adherence.
  
• Monitor KPIs such as TAT (Turnaround Time), RTO (Return to Origin), and OTP (On-Time Performance).
  

6. Coordination:

• Liaise with the central operations team, delivery personnel, vendors, and customer support for seamless operations.
  
• Resolve any escalated issues related to delays, misroutes, or customer complaints
