Senior Manager - Retail Marketing and Consumer Activations
Job Description:
We are presently hiring a senior manager for a well-known lifestyle brand to handle their brands retail marketing in India. Position is based in Gurgaon for candidate with experience in retail marketing, consumer activations., digital first campaigns, marketing automation, social media marketing along with exposure towards CRM and retail analytics tools.
Since the role is actually for a legacy brand, which is having a rich history and absolutely strong fundamentals, we are only looking for candidates with stable experience and mature mindset to be part of this brand.
We are only interested in candidates from consumer brands in FMCG, apparel, lifestyle retail, consumer durable or similar direct consumer brands
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail marketing, digital-first campaigns, and consumer insights. You will drive brand positioning, visibility, and consumer engagement strategies tailored to the unique and diverse Indian consumer landscape. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, retail partners, and external agencies

Tasks and accountabilities:
Consumer Activation:
- Develop and execute high-impact consumer activation campaigns across key markets.
- Drive brand engagement through experiential marketing, events, partnerships, and sampling programs.
- Analyze consumer insights to shape strategies and improve engagement KPIs.
- Work closely with sales and trade marketing teams to align activations with commercial objectives.
Public Relations (PR):
- Develop and manage the PR strategy to enhance brand image and reputation.
- Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee the development of press releases, media kits, and briefing documents.
- Monitor media coverage, analyze performance, and provide actionable insights.
Social Media Management:
- Lead the social media strategy across platforms.
- Collaborate with content creators, agencies, and in-house teams to ensure consistent brand voice.
- Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, sentiment) and optimize campaigns.
Retail Marketing:
- Manage in-store branding, POS materials, visual merchandising guidelines, and promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate with retail teams to identify local marketing opportunities.
- Analyze ROI of retail marketing initiatives and continuously optimize plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/master's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in retail or FMCG marketing, with strong expertise in brand, digital, and retail campaigns
