Role Summary
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate RCM Trainer to design, deliver, and manage learning interventions for front-line associates and team leads across the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) continuum. The trainer will be responsible for new hire training, cross-training, process upskilling, and ongoing refresher programs aligned with client expectations and performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Training Design & Delivery
Deliver end-to-end RCM process training (front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end) covering all RCM verticals:
o Patient Access (Eligibility, Authorization, Registration)
o Medical Billing & Coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, Modifiers)
o Charge Entry & Capture
o Claims Processing & Submission
o Accounts Receivable (Follow-up, Denials, Appeals)
o Payment Posting, Refunds & Credit Balances
Facilitate induction training for new & lateral hires and refresher training for existing staff.
Customize modules based on client SLAs, payer guidelines (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial), and platform (e.g., Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks).
Conduct assessments, quizzes, and feedback sessions to evaluate learning effectiveness.
Update training materials and SOPs based on process changes or client requirements.
Collaborate with SMEs and Ops to identify training needs and skill gaps.
Ensure training delivery meets compliance, accuracy, and quality benchmarks.
Support cross-functional training requests (Voice, Non-Voice, Coding, etc.).
Training Administration & Documentation
Prepare training agendas, handouts, assessments, and certification scorecards.
Maintain training MIS - track batch-wise performance, attendance, feedback, and certification.
Maintain documentation of all training sessions for audit and reference.
Own the SOP alignment and version control of process documents and job aids.
Performance & Evaluation
Conduct pre-assessments, mid-evaluations, and final certification with a minimum of 85% threshold.
Calibrate with QA teams to ensure alignment with production expectations.
Analyze trainee errors, retrain as needed, and recommend coaching support.
Track speed-to-proficiency metrics (days to reach 90% accuracy) and post-training productivity uplift.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Partner with Operations, Quality, and HR to streamline onboarding and on-the-job learning (OJL).
Participate in client calibration calls to align training KPIs with operational metrics.
Support client visits, internal audits, and process reviews by presenting training dashboards and achievements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Commerce, or a related field.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in US Healthcare RCM domain.
Minimum 2 years of classroom/virtual training experience in BPO or healthcare setting.
Working knowledge of RCM tools and software (Epic, Kareo, Medisoft, Availity).
Exposure to HIPAA, AAPC (if certified), and CMS compliance guidelines.
Excellent command of spoken and written English.
Strong facilitation, coaching, and documentation skills.
Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams/Zoom.
