Devops Engineer

As a DevOps Developer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a robust and efficient software delivery pipeline using AWS, Jenkins, and DevSec Ops practices.

Job Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement scalable and reliable DevOps solutions using AWS cloud infrastructure and services.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, system administrators, and security professionals, to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.

Build and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, enabling automated and efficient software delivery.

Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) methodologies using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of AWS resources.

Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and scalability of cloud-based systems and applications, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks or issues.

Implement and maintain strong security measures throughout the software development lifecycle, incorporating DevSecOps principles and practices.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper version control, code branching, and release management strategies are in place.

Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in the DevOps and cloud computing domains, and make recommendations for process improvements and tooling updates.

Document and communicate technical solutions, guidelines, and best practices to internal teams, promoting knowledge sharing and efficient collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar.

Experience with other cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud Platform.

Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible .

Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus.

Understanding of agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
