Senior IT Engineer - QA/QC

Summary-

1. Understand the business requirements, understanding technical and functional specifications in detail.

2.Should closely work with the development and business teams.

3.As per the business requirements need to write the test scenarios and test cases.

4.Execute the test cases in UAT environment.

5.Maintain the regression suite and execute it on every release.

6.Able to write automation scripts using Selenium.

7.Understand the defect life cycle and follow-up with development team to make it closure.

8.Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

9.Good writing and verbal communication skills.

10.Passionate to learn new technologies/tools as required.

Responsibilities -

1. Understand the business requirements and able to convey the gaps to development team.

2.Having knowledge on API testing using Postman or any other tool.

3.Write the test scenarios and test cases.

4.Raising the bugs and convey the exact issue to development team.

5.Write the automation scripts using Selenium.

6.Understanding of Cucumber framework is an added advantage.

7.Knowledge on security testing using Burpsuite is an added advantage.

8.Knowledge on Payments domain is an added advantage.

9.Need to have good automation script debugging skills.

Education -

B.E/B.Tech/M.C.A or any equivalent degree

Experience -

1.Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience.

2.Minimum 2+ years of automation experience in Selenium tool.

3.Experience in banking domain is an added advantage - Optional.

4.Knowledge on API testing - optional.

Certification -

ISTQB Foundation level Certification - Optional

Knowledge -

1.Need hands-on experience on Selenium automation using Cucumber framework.

2.Need to write and execute the test cases for business requirements.

3.Experience in banking domain is an added advantage.

4.Experience in performance testing using Jmeter is an added advantage.
