Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Edifecs Encounter Manager Developer to join our team and support Medicare and Medicaid claim processing and compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing encounter processing solutions using Edifecs technology.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize encounter data processing solutions using Edifecs tools.
- Configure and customize Edifecs Encounter Management to meet CMS requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare and Medicaid regulations for claims submission.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EDI transactions and encounter data .
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement business rules and validation processes .
- Perform data analysis and reporting to ensure data quality and accuracy .
- Support testing, deployment, and maintenance of encounter processing solutions.
- E xpertise in X12 transactions (837, 835, 270/271, etc.) for healthcare claims.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid encounter submission requirements.
- Proficiency in SQL, scripting, and data transformation tools.
- Experience with HIPAA compliance and regulatory reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with Edifecs SpecBuilder and Edifecs XEngine .
- Knowledge of CMS regulations and state-specific Medicaid rules.
- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions for healthcare data processing.
