DRONE/UAV/RPAS Pilot

Reporting to the General Manager, the UAV/RPAS Pilot needs to excel in a fast-paced and challenging work environment. Expected to be a conceptual thinker with superb organizational and time management skills. You must be reliable and should accurately follow instructions with the ability to multitask and acclimatize in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

As a UAV/RPAS Pilot at Integrated Precision Systems and Services (IPSS), you will be carrying the energy and drive the business forward. You would be responsible for increasing the companys sales. Use various channels and spend a significant part of the time prospecting. Assist the management in managing customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in any Science (B.Sc) or Technology (B.Tech)

• 2+ years working experience

• Ability to travel to support field testing and training

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

• Excellent people skills, preferably experience working on a small, fast-paced team

• An aggressive personality, driven by performance would be a good fit for this role.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong listening and presentation skills.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Oversee ground and flight operations

• Remote-pilot of UAV/RPAS including multicopter and fixed wing designs following a specific flight plan or obtaining useful footage

• Conduct flight demonstrations

• Perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight safety checks

• Troubleshoot equipment issues

• All field activities regarding UAV/RPAS and DGPS Survey, field team management, coordination with client and the team members.

• Check UAV/RPASs before a flight to ensure safe and proper operation

• Analyze weather forecasts to ensure safe flights

• Document pre- and post-flight logs

• Monitor UAV/RPAS during flight

• Plan UAV/RPAS flight routes

• Navigate UAV/RPAS along designated paths

• Gather information or produce aerial photographs, as needed

• Perform equipment testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance

• Knowledge about DGCA rules and regulations.
• The ideal candidate should be a UAV/RPAS aviation enthusiast who has a minimum of 50 hours of commercially available UAV/RPAS flight hours under their belt along with a passion for travelling and utilizing new technologies and approaches.
