Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Agriculture Drone Pilot to operate Unmanned Aerial
Vehicles (UAVs) for spraying pesticides, fertilizers, and micronutrients on agricultural crops. The pilot will be responsible for drone setup, safe flight operations, proper chemical handling, and real-time coordination with the field staff and farmers. This position plays a critical role in executing precision agriculture services efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
1) Drone Operation & Flight Management
- Operate agricultural drones for spraying as per the given field maps and instructions.
- Conduct pre-flight checks (battery, GPS, payload, propellers, safety systems).
- Ensure safe take-off, flight, and landing procedures following company SOPs and
DGCA regulations.
2) Spray Planning & Execution
- Load and calibrate the spray tank as per crop requirements and chemical dosage.
- Ensure even and accurate spraying based on the flight path and target area.
- Adjust spray height, speed, and direction depending on crop type and terrain.
3) Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform basic maintenance of drone equipment, including battery charging, cleaning,
and minor repairs.
- Identify and report technical issues immediately to the technical support team.
- Maintain logbooks of flights, battery usage, and maintenance records.
4) Coordination & Field Support
- Work under the supervision of the Agriculture Officer for input usage and spray area
identification.

- Coordinate with drone helpers for mixing chemicals, loading tanks, and equipment
movement.
- Communicate with farmers before and after spraying, if needed.
5) Compliance & Safety
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, drone flying regulations (DGCA norms),
and chemical handling guidelines.
- Avoid spraying in restricted areas or under unsafe conditions (wind, rain,
human/animal presence).
- Wear proper PPE and ensure all team members follow safety standards.
6) Documentation & Reporting
- Record daily work including field name, acreage sprayed, crop type, inputs used, and
farmer feedback.
- Capture images/videos of drone operation for record and reporting purposes.

Qualifications & Skills
Education: Minimum 12th Pass; Diploma in Agriculture or Drone Technology (preferred)
Certification:
- Valid Drone Pilot Certification from a DGCA-authorized RPTO (Remote Pilot Training
Organization)
- Knowledge of NPNT-compliant drones and airspace regulations
Experience: 1 - 2 years in agricultural drone flying (preferred but not mandatory for certified
pilots)
Skills:
- Basic understanding of GPS and mapping tools
- Mechanically inclined with ability to manage drone hardware
- Physically fit and able to work in field conditions
