Job Description
Iris florets pre-school is looking for PRE PRIMARY TEACHERS to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans that meet established school objectives
- Classroom Management: Create a positive educational climate for students to learn in
- Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures
- Assessment and Evaluation: Observe and evaluate students' performance and development
- Assign and grade class work, homework, tests, and assignments
- Provide appropriate feedback on work
- Individualized Instruction: Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students, including those with special needs
- Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities
- Parent and Community Engagement: Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior
- Participate in community-building activities to enhance the school's presence and influence
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development and stay up-to-date with current teaching methods and educational policies
- Extracurricular Activities: Participate in and organize extracurricular activities such as clubs, sports, and educational trips
- Encourage students to participate in these activities to enhance their school experience
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and school leaders to plan and coordinate work
- Participate in department and school meetings to discuss student progress and curriculum planning
- Resource Management: Utilize a variety of instructional resources and technologies to enhance learning
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure a safe and orderly classroom environment
- Adhere to and implement all school policies and regulations
