Job Description
- Perform solid-phase peptide synthesis and purification using commercial instruments
Peptide modifications and developing new linker chemistries.
Synthesis, purification and analytical characterization of peptide conjugates.
Design and synthesis and analysis of peptide arrays for epitope mapping and screening.
Experience in materials and surface conjugation chemistry.
Hands-on experimentalist with strong skills in synthetic bioorganic chemistry.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills are required. - Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Peptide/ Bioorganic chemistry or related biological sciences or equivalent with a minimum of 2-6 years of experience in peptide/ protein chemistry
Experience in design and synthesis of peptide libraries and microarray synthesis
Prior experience working with HPLC systems and other analytical instrumentation
Must be able to work on projects of a multidisciplinary nature
Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and organized and able to work in a team environment
Communicate clearly in written and verbal forms
Effective team skills and ability to understand deadlines and commitments
Strong work ethic and willingness and ambition to learn and take on responsibilities
