Senior Accountant

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable.
  
• Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, cash flow statements, and income statements.
  
• Ensure compliance with GST regulations by filing returns on time and maintaining accurate records.
  
• Oversee TDS (Tax Deduction at Source) deductions from employee salaries and vendor payments.
  
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to general ledger accounts.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-8 years of experience in senior accountancy role in an NGO/social services organization.
  
• Proficiency in using Tally ERP software for bookkeeping purposes.
  
• Strong understanding of GST laws and regulations; ability to prepare GST returns accurately.
  
• Excellent knowledge of taxation laws; experience with TDS return preparation a plus.
