Senior Business Development Manager -Climate Change( Mumbai & Gurgaon)

KBS Certification Services Ltd. is looking for a highly driven and experienced Senior Business Development Manager Climate Change to join our sustainability and climate action team. This role will focus on expanding our climate-related consulting services by building strong client partnerships and delivering strategic solutions across carbon markets, ESG, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business development efforts in the areas of climate change, sustainability, carbon credits, and ESG services.
  
• Develop and execute strategies to secure national and international consulting projects.
  
• Coordinate with internal teams to prepare customized technical proposals and presentations.
  
• Identify and pursue tender opportunities from corporates, multilaterals, and government bodies.
  
• Represent KBS in industry events, webinars, and stakeholder meetings.
  
• Monitor and analyze climate policies, market trends, and global sustainability frameworks.
  
• Nurture and grow long-term client relationships.
  
• Track business leads and ensure successful project conversions aligned with revenue goals.
  
• Report business forecasts and key metrics to senior management.
  

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of business development experience, preferably in climate change, sustainability, or environmental consulting.
  
• In-depth understanding of carbon markets, GHG accounting, ESG frameworks (GRI, CDP, TCFD, etc.), and global climate policy.
  
• Proven track record in winning and managing consulting projects.
  
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and client relationship management skills.
  
• Masters degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Climate Policy, or a related field is preferred.
