KPMG - Digital Water Specialist (10-18 yrs)

Role Overview:

As a Digital Water specialist, you will be responsible for providing guidance for implementing digital water solutions that enhance water services, improved and sustainable outcomes and experiences, and optimize workflows. You will need to work collaboratively with water sector professionals to design, develop and implement digital water technologies.

As part of this role, you will be required to:

- Work across a breadth of engagements and collaborate with other consultants across the Consulting division.

- Experience in IT project implementation/ project management/ digital transformation.

- Should have strong understanding of AI, dashboarding, GIS and asset management.

- Strong background in IT consulting, digital strategy and enterprise technology solution.

- Should have experience of working with government departments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and work with our clients to provide technology and consulting services from technology operational model design and implementation, enterprise architecture, technology procurement, technology service design, strategic planning and more.

- Work with water sector professionals to identify areas where digital water technologies can be used to improve O&M services, outcomes, and workflows.

- Develop and implement digital water strategies and solutions that meet the needs of water utilities for improving the water sector service delivery.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of digital water technologies and make recommendations for improvement.

- Collaborate with technology teams to ensure that digital water solutions are integrated with other water technologies and systems.

- Foster relationships with Multilaterals, government agencies, private sector partners, and civil society to enhance collaboration and drive impactful initiatives.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, contribute to thought leadership, and introduce innovative solutions for the sector.

- Meet business financial targets, overall project budgets and schedules, client satisfaction/expectations, and internal requirements.

- Work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment to build business, as well as to lead client
and teams.

- Strong Business and Sales acumen to understand business risk and challenges and recognize opportunities.

- Willing to undertake travel throughout India as and when required.

- High personal & professional integrity, team player and ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines, problem solving attitude and experience of managing large teams and assignment.

- Good analytical, and knowledge management skills including writing and presentation skills.

Qualification and Skill sets:

- 10 years of experience in digital sector in water and wastewater industry/ consulting

- B.Tech/ B.Eng/ BCA/ B.Sc (IT) + Post Graduate in Management/ IT/ Analytics/ IT Systems

- Strong understanding of water policies, regulations, and best practices in India and globally.

- Good analytical, and knowledge management skills including writing and presentation skills.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
