Job Description
L. V. Prasad Eye Institute is looking forEye Donation Counselor to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.
- Responsible for approaching donor families and obtaining consent for donation prior to recovery of tissue and coordinating timely and effective corneal recovery.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all Eye Bank and hospital staff.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with peers while fostering a positive work environment.
- Able to interpret and follow written and oral direction.
- Able to effectively persuade individuals and groups.
- Must be able to work long hours, nights and Sundays/holidays when required
- Personal commitment to eye and organ donation.
- Intermediate/ Degree preferably from science back round (like MLT, BiPC, GNM, BSC )
